There lighter weight flavors possess an almost delicate mouth feel thanks to the soft yet super fine effervescence that contrasts with the crisp and lemony finish. Like the Conversation, this is on the softer and rounder side of the spectrum but the complexity and overall sense of harmony are first rate.

It has a touch of hedgerow in it

but it is not flabby either

Blend: 41% Chardonnay

Lively ruby red in colour with purple- and violet-bluish hues

• 100% barrel fermented using only indigenous yeasts

Ripe black and blue fruits

unwilling to make the journey to a then-neglected region

Its strict initial character blossoms out into rich black-currant flavors that exude class

the wine was put in used American oak barrels for two years and another two in bottle

by oxidative handling to naturally remove any remaining colour

yet is very gentle and velvety

with sweet notes of ripe fruit and jam
