I call this style of landscape "experimental landscape study" The focus is on the emotions brought out by the palette and the brushes. I was so pleased with the result achieved.

The vast landscape along southern Idaho and into Wyoming where I witnessed a mix of intense green with beautiful red rocky earth exposed beneath

which doesn’t seem like a super efficient way to get around

Intense colors in this modern landscape were inspired by my recent backroads trip to Yellowstone
